What are Thread Veins?
Thread veins or spider veins are fine, dilated veins lying just beneath the surface of the skin. They are not dangerous but can be unsightly. In some people thread veins are caused by varicose veins but in other people they arise without any underlying venous problem. Treatment & Aftercare
Microsclerotherapy causes minimal discomfort. Each treatment takes 30-45 minutes. A very fine needle is inserted into the thread veins, the substance injected causes the lining of the veins to swell and stick together so that no blood can flow through them, the swelling will destroy the vein over several weeks, making it much less noticeable or even invisible.
